We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a vibrant tree planting program at Gonawala Kelanitissa School, marking another step forward in our mission to create a greener, cleaner, and healthier Sri Lanka.

This initiative was designed not only to beautify the school grounds but also to inspire students to value and protect the environment. With the active participation of students, teachers, parents, and volunteers, a variety of native and fruit-bearing trees were planted within the school premises. These trees will provide shade, purify the air, and serve as a long-term contribution to biodiversity, while also offering seasonal fruits for future generations to enjoy.

The enthusiasm of the students was truly heartwarming. Many pledged to take personal responsibility for watering and caring for the young saplings, turning this event into a living lesson in responsibility, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
